The easiest way to get an accurate speed for any vessel these days is to use a portable GPS. If you don't have one find a friend who does and borrow it for a day.How do i figure out the speed of a jet ski using its horsepower and weight?
I went ot MIT and perform math modeling. You have to add the water and body resistance, drivers weight and several other variables. The best thing is to check the jet ski website and they already have it figured out.
