How to figure out cause of death in sims 3?

When a sim family member moves out and dies and you don't find out till later on, how do you determine their cause of death? My daughter moved out and I checked the family tree and her, her husband, baby daddy, and their parents are all dead. How do I locate the tombstone/urn or figure out how they died?
