At about what age does a person figure out their sexuality?

I was looking at another question and they were saying when you are about 15 or 16 they are too young to really know. I just was wondering when would be about the age when a person would know then? I am 15 and have expiremented a lot and still really don't know if I am bi gay or maybe even straight which I doubt but could be a possibility. Right now I think I am bi but that could change tomorrow. How long does it usually take before a person knows if they are gay bi or straight? At about what age does a person figure out their sexuality?
Second grade. I didn't know what ';it'; was called, but I definitely felt same-sex attraction then.

I imagine everyone is different. At about what age does a person figure out their sexuality?
I agree with the first answer. People who say ';Oh, you're only 13. You couldn't possibly know if you're gay/bi/lesbian or not'; piss me off. There is no right age. You can find out when you're 9, or even 40. So basically, everyone finds out at a different age. It's not like ';Okay, people, you should be finding out your sexuality from 16-21! Good luck with the whole process!'; kind of stuff. It's on personal choice and when you come to realize/accept that you're attracted to whatever sex.
I'm thinking that there is NOT really a day of 'recognition' coming...per se...'Most' unenlightened Str8 folks like to think that the collective 'we' actually 'chose' this orientation....I have been, for as long as I can remember..attracted to Men....That said, I love being around women....I like everything about them...just don't want to get naked w/ them...that's all...

I know this may not be exactly the black/white answer you may be seeking....Just saying how it is for myself...Go w/ the flow...don't do anything in front of children %26amp; don' scare the horses...lol Soooo much of life does not need, want nor require a 'label'...Let loose of some things...embrace yourself %26amp; your feelings...

Hope I've helped here...just answer truthfully to the mirror...Be yourself.
There is no right age, and you're never too young. I knew when I was 4. I'm now 51, and my sexuality remains the same.
right around the time they hit puberty
Wow I love these answers, usually someone says you don't know until you are around 17/18 but i totally disagree.

I am 15 to, and came out to my parents a couple of months ago after years of fake 'I want to marry Brad Pitt' comments.

I have known since I was in year 4 at school, I knew that I had a weird fascination with the year 5 teacher she was so beautiful and intellegent I kinda followed her around a lil bit.

Anyway, it totally depends on the person, but if i were to generalize I would say young teens who are just staring puberty begin to realize it.

But then again, straight people know they are straight at a young age and i believe many lgbt youths do, it's just some choose to accept it.

I really hated it when people used to say to me you are too young to label yourself, because it is annoying and does feel better once you have figured it out.

But it sounds like you are really unsure, which means keep on experimenting - there is nothing wrong with that, maybe you will know when you are older, but what does it matter?

But, with a passion (grr) totally disagree with anyone who says we are too young to know.

How comes a straight person is never too yong to know they are straight but an lgbt person is ?

Doesn't make sense to me,

anyway longg answer over you will be glad to know, hope i helped..

Email me if you want?
