How do you make a wax figure?

I'd like to learn how to make a wax figure. How do you make one?How do you make a wax figure?
you just model it, and it's mainly practice. You need to use a wax which is suitable for modeling, e.g. paraffin wax is not suitable. You could use beeswax with a bit paraffin wax mixed in (mixed in paraffin wax makes a wax mix harder, and bees wax on its own is very soft). Best you would use microcrystalline wax, it's made for modeling. You either use the warmth of your hands to make the wax flexible or you put it into some warm water. Then you model with it similar like you would with clay. You can use various tools like a toothpick or a spoon or a variety or you can buy modeling tools for small details. Metal tools are in general better as they are stronger and also you can heat them up over a candle flame to help with the modeling.
