i am trying to get an idea of how much my stimulus check will be and I am confused on wether you calculate in the additional child tax credit...Do you figure in the additional child tax credit when calculating the stimulus check payment?

No. If you look at the calculator, it specifies that you should enter the child tax credit, not the ADDITIONAL child tax credit.
