How can I find jeans to fit my figure?

I have a ';bubble butt'; or ';ghetto booty';, however you'd like to call it, and bigger thighs and hips, but I have a smaller waist. I want to find flares that fit without having the standard material sticking out in the back, or being too tight in the thighs. I need them to not be in junior sizes, as well, because they certainly don't make those for a girl with hips and a butt. How can I find jeans to fit my figure?
I have kinda the same problem; curvy with a small waist. I really like Jlo by Jennifer Lopez. I also found that by going to places like Marshalls and Ross, and taking in as many jeans as allowed; has enabled me to visually discern what is going to look good. After trying on a ton of jeans you will no doubt become proficient at finding jeans that are right for you.How can I find jeans to fit my figure?
me too, Old Navy =-)
try getting plus sizes from JCpenny or goodies or even belk
I have the same body type (I'm about 40 in the waist and 54 in the hips) so I'm pretty much an expert about all this.

Avoid brands such as Old Navy, LEI, YMI, Z. Cavaricci, Younique, Paris Blues, and Bongo. All of these jeans have extremely low rises (which rarely flatters big hips) and tend to run big in the waist and small in the hips.

Ultralove, Sweet Vibes, Angels, and (some pairs of) Zana Di are all pretty good brands. Beware of Angels though, they normally run 1-2 sizes smaller than labeled. If you can afford it, try on or buy some Baby Phat jeans. They always fit fantastic.

Go to stores such as DEB (they often have a plus size section, but many locations don't) and Torrid (which also has a website, Torrid.com). Other websites you can check out are alight.com, Macy's, and eBay.

Hope I helped!
The best thing that you can do is buy jeans to fit the bigger areas of your body and then have them altered to fit your waist. Many dry cleaners do alterations as well. Some times department stores have a tailor that they use and you can ask one for a recommendation. Or you can buy stretch jeans, though they will sink down in the back.

I know some plus sized stores like Lane Bryant takes larger butts and thighs into account while the waists still fit, but the smallest size that they carry is a 14, so if you're smaller than that, that won't help you.
i have that problem too! i have found that old navy is the best
I have the same problem I can wear old navy blue jeans real well especially the boy cut jeans.
