How can I illustrate, two-dimensionally, a single figure with four faces?

...I need to illustrate a figure with a single body and four faces facing north, south, east and west. How can I best show this figure in a two-dimensional medium? Any compositional ideas? How can I illustrate, two-dimensionally, a single figure with four faces?
its a good and tricky problem.

OK lets come to same ground first. put the figure in a cuboid.

now when we are looking from front I'll take a view from the top left vertex of that box.

this will give me a nice extreme perspective and view of all four heads.

another suggestion of mine is to go through some Hindu art if you can find it. a lot of Hindu mythological figure have multiple hands and head. they are able to depict them in a very easy and effective way.

try image searching for 'BRAMHA' or 'VISHNU' , two of most important Hindu gods.

tell me if it helps. best of luck and have fun :)How can I illustrate, two-dimensionally, a single figure with four faces?
In two dimensions or three, you can only show what you can see in one view. You can display a figure with: one full face and two partial, or two full face, but never all four, unless the forth is reflected!

If it is an absolute, that you draw a figure with four faces, Then recreate a scene where it is by a mirror, lake or any reflective surface that would verify to the viewer that there are four faces!

Good luck!
From what you described, I should think the easiest would be a view from above the subject, looking down. In that manner, the top of the head is centered, and the faces are organized like a compass.
