I've got a piece of prime property for sale and I've got two people interested in it. I鈥檝e got my stepdaughter who wants to buy it for $13,500 to put a mobile home on it and I have an investor who has offered $30,000 for it.
My stepdaughter has two children and is getting a divorce; she wants to be close to my wife and I, she thinks this would be perfect because it is so close to us. My wife鈥檚 family is for the idea, but it would cost me almost $17,000 to let her have the property. I bought the property to make money, so my wife has kind of ducked out of the discussion. I didn鈥檛 offer the property, but my stepdaughter knew I had it and she has stated she wanted it to be close to us.
What the heck do I do? What the heck would you do? This is perplexing, one way I鈥檇 like to help and the other I feel like I鈥檓 being taken advantage of.Business is business, or does family figure in the equation?
Sell it for the $30,000 then buy her a small piece of land at a smaller value that would only be a few minutes driving distance to put her mobile home on?
Good luck with that.Business is business, or does family figure in the equation?
well, my friend you can sell it for $30,000 and then buy another that cost you 13,500. you have a win-win situation( provided there are still some of them waiting for sale)
