What are some ways to prove a figure is a rectangle?

I just wantd to jto down some notes so that i can prepaare myself for a test. What are some ways to prove a figure is a rectangle?
four sided, four right angles [90 degrees], opposite sides of equal lengthWhat are some ways to prove a figure is a rectangle?
The figure has four sides and four right angles

The length of side AB = the length of side CD

and the length of side AD = the side of length BC.

Note:

A figure with ';opposite sides are of equal length'; could also be a diamond.

A figure where ';both diaganols [sic] are congruent'; could also be a trapezoid.

You have to have the opposite equal sides and the right angles.
actually you need more than opposite sides being equal. That only proves that you have a parallelogram. What you need to show is that all the angles are equal.
A rectangle has two pairs of parallel congruent sides and 4 right angles. Its diagonals are congruent. Remember, a square is also a rectangle. (It is a special rectangle where both pairs of parallel sides are congruent.
opposite sides are of equal length.
both diaganols are congruent
remember the definition of a rectangle.

a rectangle is a paralleogram where adjacent sides are perpendicular.

a parallelogram is a quadrilateral with opposite sides parallel to each other. opposite sides of a parallelogram are congruent to each other
A figure is a rectangle when it has 4 sides, 4 vertices, and not all sides are equal.
