Eternity is a never ending cycle that has neither a beginning nor an end. Forever is synonymous with eternity because they both explain never ending processes.
However, do not confuse the term eternity with infinity. Infinity has a definite end, and travels in only one direction, either forward or backwards. That is why infinity can be either positive or negative, while eternity cannot.
Edit: Forever can also be used to explain infinity, in one direction, so I guess forever is compatible with both eternity and infinity.How long is Forever? Is it even possible for the Human brain to figure that out? ?
I once heard it described like this:
Imagine every 1000 years a little bird scrapes its beak twice against a mountain the size of Mt. Everest. Well, by the time that bird manages to reduce the whole mountain to a pile of dust, you take one drop of water out of the Pacific Ocean. You keep repeating that process until you've emptied the pacific ocean. That's one second in the billion millenia of eternity.
You might as well say 9 to the power of infinity. But it just doesn't have the same emotional appeal.
I would submit to you that any sort of paradise would eventually turn to hell if you had to be there that long. Except if God is there of course :-)

Meaningless question. What you're asking for is the value of infinity, which is by definition undefined.
