Can someone show me how to figure out the perimeter of a triangle?

If the area of a rectangle is __x__ square feet.

One side is __x___ feet.

How do I find the perimeter of the rectangle by knowing the information above?Can someone show me how to figure out the perimeter of a triangle?
you have to know what the number you have to get to is so you do that and then you just add all the numbers you have and subtract it by the given number. I really hope this helps....Can someone show me how to figure out the perimeter of a triangle?
the area is length times width.

A=L*W

if you're given the area, and you're given one of the sides ... you can solve the problem. Using the side given, designate that as either the length or width and solve:

A/L=W or just Area/side given = other side

then once you have the other side you add them up. perimeter is length *2 + width*2.
The perimeter of a rectangle is 2l(length) + 2w(width)

the area of a rectangle is length x width.

so you have to know what the length and width is.
